Coaches Meeting

The date and time for the coaches meeting for the 2008 Pacific Ring AA Tournament will be announced when available.

AA Tournament Rules

1. Warm-up is limited to three minutes.
2. Teams must be ready to play 15 minutes prior to their scheduled game start.
3. No overtime will be played in the round-robin where tied games will stand.
4. Tie-breaking rules at the end of the round-robin will be goals for, goals against, and head-to-head.
5. Tied games in the Tween and Junior bronze and gold games will enter a 3-player shootout round until a winner is determined.
6. Tween division: two 18 minute periods; Junior and Belle: two 20 minute.
7. During round-robin, the home team will provide scorekeeper and shotclock operator and the visiting team will provide timekeeper.
8. Referees may remove time from the clock as necessary.
9. Due to insurance regulations, all teams and players must be registered with their provincial associations.
10. Registration fee is $575.00 and due Nov 30th made payable to Lower Mainland Ringette League c/o Debbie Doiron , 250 E. Balmoral Rd. North Vancouver, B.C. V7N 1R5
11. Transportation and hotel accommodation are each team’s responsibility
12. We will attempt to provide teams with the best possible draw configurations. Absolutely no changes will be made to the draw after teams have been accepted.
13. The closing date for team applications is November 30th, 2007.
14. For any withdrawals after Dec 10th, the entry fee is non-refundable.
15. All applications must be accompanied by a cheque to be considered.
16. Game schedules will be posted on our website as soon as they are complete. Team contacts/managers will be notified by email as soon as the schedule is posted.
