The LMRL AA Ringette committee is pleased to announce the AA ringette tryout schedule. 2008-09 stands to be the most fun and exciting AA ringette season yet and all ringette athletes are encouraged to come to tryouts and see what the buzz is all about. The upcoming AA ringette season promises to be the best ever and the LMRL AA Executive Committee would like to invite you to come join in this premiere level of ringette and BC’s quest for gold!
Spring tryouts for the Tween, Junior and Belle AA teams will not be held for 2008-09. Fall tryouts for the LMRL Petite, Tween, Junior and Belle AA teams will take place in September. The schedule for fall tryouts can be found at the AA schedule page and the registration form can be downloaded here.
As a registered player of the Lower Mainland Ringette League, you are invited to tryout for the LMRL AA teams.
Season Overview
AA teams normally play in the LMRL A division one level up (eg, Junior AA will play in the Belle A division), attend out-of-province tournaments and represent the Lower Mainland Ringette League at the BC Provincial AA Championships where the winner will represent BC at the Western Canadian Ringette Championships (Tween AA) in Saskatoon or Canadian Ringette Championships (Junior through Open AA) in Charlottetown, PEI. These competitive teams train hard and players are expected to make a full commitment for the season.
Program Objectives
The objective of the LMRL AA program is to promote the growth and development of the sport of ringette by providing an opportunity to compete at the highest possible level and ensure the Lower Mainland and British Columbia is represented at the Western and Canadian Ringette Championships.

teams
If you cannot attend the first tryout, please contact the coach - Home association games take precedence over both AA games, practices and tryouts. Notify the AA coach if you must miss a tryout to attend a home association game.
Rules Clarification
- Tween through Open AA are permitted to affiliate with their home associations and play only on the AA team, or they may choose to play for both teams.
- Players on developmental teams do not have the option to affiliate and are required to play on their home teams in addition to the development team.
- When a scheduling conflict occurs, priority is given to the home association team.
- Underage players may try out for the next division but are required to attend tryouts at their own level as well. If attending two tryouts, the first tryout fee is $100 and the second is $75.
- Athletes must be registered by September 15 to be eligible to AA team selection.
