The LMRL board has passed a motion increasing the fees paid to on-ice officials. The approved motion applies a $2 across-the-board increase for all categories of referees. The new rates are effective immediately and are provided in the table below. ...more

At the October 20 LMRL Executive meeting, the board approved a motion aimed at improving the ability for teams to complete their full game in the sixty minutes normally available. The new rules that go into effect on a trial basis for the 2008-09 season institute a series of time efficiencies throughout the game. ...more
The LMRL set the pace at the 2008 Provincial Championships held in Quesnel ("A" division) and Surrey ("B" and "C" divisions). LMRL associations won eight of a possible ten gold medals with Delta leading the charge with three golds in the tough and competitive "A" division.
